Hanshi Roberta Trias

  Hanshi Roberta Trias began studying Karate at a young age with her father and Sensei, O'Sensei Robert A. Trias.  She is known throughout the world as Hanshi and Menkyo Kaiden of Okinawan Shuri-ryu karate.  She holds the rank of 10th dan in Karate, is a Hanshi in Okinawan Kobudo and is ranked in Judo and Kendo.  She was certified as a Chief Instructor by her father O'Sensei Robert Trias, founder and Master of Shuri-ryu and inherited the system upon O'Sensei's death. Trias Hanshi has trained with various Masters in the Orient including Yasuhiro Konishi.  She travels around the world training, teaching and mentoring practitioners of all karate systems.  Trias Hanshi is a member of the Trias International Society. 
  She holds a Ph.D in Psychology.
  Trias Hanshi is currently working on a trilogy of books which focus on O'Sensei Robert A.   It continues to be my pleasure and honor to know Roberta Hanshi.  Through studying with her I continue to learn new lessons in every facet of my life.  I consider myself extremely blessed to have such a wonderful and able teacher.  There is so much that I could say about my teacher but words truly cannot express the depth of my gratitude for all I have learned and continue to learn.
